What Ater Latus expects from you, before applying and after being accepted:
Complete knowledge of every encounter you are applying to raid for. This includes watching videos and reading strats available to you on many sites. There is no excuse not to know an encounter. In other words: Alot of raid experience.
When you apply, and put a link to your armory up, we expect to see a character who is geared at our gear level, properly gemmed, enchanted and specced for raiding. PvP gear and specs will not be accepted or looked at twice for a raiding spot.
Bring your own food, flasks, potions and repair gold to every raid. While we usually provide some things, always expect to provide for yourself.
If you find yourself needing to ask a class leader or raid leader about the mechanics of an encounter 5 minutes before it starts, this guild is not for you. Apply to a catered to casuals guild.
Making repeated mistakes will no longer be tolerated. Expect to be removed if you make the same mistake twice.
Backseat raid leading will not be tolerated. If you feel the need to consistently open your mandible during a raid, or while a raid leader is talking, apply elsewhere. Or expect a Global Mute.
A computer that can handle the encounters we are currently up against is a must. Unstable computers or connections will not be tolerated, especially on encounters with limited attempts. Do not apply if this is you.
Ability to listen and respond in Ventrilo when asked a question or given a request during a raid. We require 100% communication during raids. "My mic is broken" won't fly around here. Go buy a new one if you want to raid.
You are expected to min/max your class/gear/spec to suit current raiding levels and needs.
If you are a class that has a functional dual spec for raiding, your off spec will be as geared or as close to as geared as your main spec. Or it's a waste of time.
Expect to stay the duration of raids. Leaving early consistently shows us you don't have the time or dedication for the raids. Nothing personal, the guild isnt for you.
You are expected to take constructive critism and not take it personally and to use the advice you get to better yourself as a player.
Forum trolling and general/trade chat trolling will earn you a kick. Again, find another guild if this is somthing you frequently do. We are here to raid, there are enough morons on the forums and in trade to keep us humored for months.
If you have somthing you would like to suggest or add to a strat, bring it up inbetween attempts, in tells to your CL first and let it work it's way up to the raid leaders.
Do not expect to come into the guild and get handed loot. Loot whoring won't be tolerated. Freak outs over loot won't be tolerated either. Loot is secondary to progression, though they go hand in hand, the interest should lay equally with knowing your foes in progression.
Treat people the way you want to be treated. We like to show fairness and respect to our raids, but it is earned, not a right.
All raid spots are open for replacement at anytime, should personal game play start to go down hill, or attendance becomes an issue.
Attendance will be maintained at 90% to ensure a consistent spot and a strong core.
Finger pointing and blaming in raids will not be tolerated. Keep that high school behavior at home or wherever you might have it. It does not belong in our raids.
All business aside, ATL is an older guild looking to progress and ultimatly enjoy trhe game, and for us enjoying the game is seeing and completing all new content. We love to have a good time just like anyone else during off raid nights.
If these standards sound like you, than by all means , please apply, and enjoy your stay in the guild.
